Activity and the audit log

What changed, who changed it, and how far back you can look.

Snoze keeps a record of what happens in a workspace at two levels. The activity feed is for people doing the work: a running list of recent changes you are allowed to see. The audit log is for administrators: every significant event, who did it, and on what, with export.

The activity feed

Add an Activity feed block to any page or dashboard and it shows recent workspace events, newest first: records created and edited, pages changed, automations run. It only shows what the reader has permission to see, so the same block shows different things to different people.

The feed is a catch-up view, not an archive. It is capped to recent events and reaches back as far as the plan’s history window (below).

The audit log

The audit log lives in Workspace settings → Audit log. It is a Business plan feature. Owners and Admins can open it; other roles cannot.

Each entry records:

  • What happened (the event type) and its category: content, data, collaboration, automation, integration, admin, or system.
  • Who did it: a person, an automation, an integration, or the system, and when an automation acted for someone, on whose behalf.
  • On what: the item or record, and which fields changed.
  • When, and the outcome.

Filter by category, actor, subject, or date range.

Export

Click Export CSV on the audit log to download the filtered entries. Large ranges are truncated at a limit and the export says so; narrow the range or filter to get the rest.

How far back

History retention follows the plan:

How far back each plan can look: 7 days, 90 days, a year, unlimited
How far back each plan can look: 7 days, 90 days, a year, unlimited
PlanHistory window
Free7 days
Team90 days
Business1 year
EnterpriseUnlimited

This window applies to the audit log, the activity feed, and page version history. Upgrading re-opens older history immediately: nothing is deleted at the boundary, it is only hidden.

Time-tracking revisions are the exception: they are kept for at least 90 days on every plan, including Free. See Shifts and timesheets.
