# Snoze on desktop

_Native macOS and Windows apps are in the works. Here's the plan._

Native desktop apps for **macOS** and **Windows** are in development. They
aren't available yet — this page is a short, honest status.

## What's planned

The desktop app is aiming for the things a browser tab can't quite do:

- **Instant launch** — a cold start under a second.
- **Global quick capture** — one keyboard shortcut to jot something from any
  app, without switching to Snoze first.
- **Offline first** — work anywhere and sync when you reconnect.
- **Native notifications** — quiet by default, delivered through the OS.

## In the meantime

Snoze runs fully in any modern browser today, with nothing missing — the
desktop app will wrap that same workspace in a native shell rather than add a
separate product. If you want Snoze on the go now, the
